Understanding Ageing Plant is essential to an effective Asset Integrity Management System and preventing major accidents which can cost businesses money, reputation and potentially their continued existence.
Recent surveys have shown that greater than 60% of COMAH sites are in need of improvement with regard to Ageing Plant. Considerable guidance documentation is available including the following but disseminating it when resource pressures faced by asset teams is one of their biggest challenges faced, can be difficult.
The course will overview the key strategic areas of the CA’s evaluation of ageing plant, review the common areas of difficulty including: ageing plant/condition assessment studies and defining the internal and external roles and responsibilities of the intelligent customer.
